Fellowship:
Maximum up-to 31,000/- per month depending on qualification and experience as per DBT guidelines.
Selection Criteria:
Desirable:
Knowledge and experience in computational biology and experimental biology, and those who have qualified GATE or CSIR/UGC/DBT JRF or any other equivalent national level exam or having post graduate degree in engineering will be preferred.
Excellent communication skills, Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team, Willingness to learn new techniques. Familiarity with NGS is an added advantage.
IIT Mandi reserves the right to fix higher criteria for short-listing of eligible candidates from those satisfying the advertised qualification and requirement of the project post.
Duration:
Initially for 1 year (extendable subject to the performance and availability of funds). The selected candidate will need to join the project immediately.
Note: JRF may get PhD admission if he/she fulfills the admission criteria of IIT Mandi.
