IIT Mandi Recruitment 2022-23 EWOK Application are invited for interested and eligible Candidates for Finance / Outreach / Operations Managers (Enabling Women of Kamand valley (Registered Society, Mandi District H.P.) Salgi Main Road, P.O. Kamand, District Mandi, H.P -175005 was founded in 2015 as an initiative of the IIT Mandi Women’s Center. We are now a registered society (since 2019) and a rural micro-incubator in the Mandi district of Himachal Pradesh. Our vision is to join with the women and families of the greater Kamand area to tap into opportunities and enhance their traditional skills, leading to an increase in livelihood. Our goals are aligned with three UN Sustainable Development Goals of gender equality, reasonable economic growth and reducing poverty. Currently we focus on three main areas – agriculture, micro-enterprises, and training/education. Till date we have worked successfully with over 150 people of greater Kamand area, Mandi.
We are looking for professionals with a passion to work on initiatives that enhance livelihoods while advancing their career and a strong willingness to work in a rural setup. The individuals should have good interpersonal skills and be an effective team player.

Operations Managers Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in any field. A Master’s Degree will be advantageous.
- Experience in relevant areas of preferred fields of public relations, Fundraising, Agri-business management, Social work, Rural Management, Social Entrepreneurship, Agricultural Science, Finance & Marketing and familiarity with the impact & charity sector in rural setup.
Desired Skill Sets:
- Good written and spoken communication in English & Hindi.
- Computer literacy
Operations Managers Remuneration
₹25000/- to ₹40000/- per month(consolidated, based on experience and credentials). Increments/bonus based on performance.
Tenure
Tenure : 1 year, extendable based on performance.

Operations Managers Job Description :
● Role: Finance
○ Manage finances of EWOK, including short-term and long-term planning.
○ Manage accounting.
● Role: Outreach
○ Prepare & submit funding proposals to potential donors.
○ Implement marketing strategies and promotional & awareness campaigns for EWOK in Himachal, India and globally.
○ Interact with the press and manage social media..
● Operation
○ Manage daily operations of EWOK.
○ Hire & train new employees in EWOK.
The managers will advise and assist EWOK entrepreneurs in their areas of expertise. Additional duties will be assigned from time to time.
