Para Pump Operator Essential Qualification

The candidate should have a minimum qualification of matriculation (10th) with certificate in trade in electrician/wireman/diesel mechanic pump mechanic, motor mechanic/ pump operator cum mechanic from a recognized TI or Matriculation 10th) with certificate in above cited trades under Skill Development Scheme of the Government.

Para Pump Operator Desirable Qualification

Knowledge of custom, manners and dialects of Himachal Pradesh is desirable.

Para Fitter Essential Qualification

The candidate should have a minimum qualification of matriculation (10th) with ITI1 certificate in the trade of Fitter & Plumber from recognized ITI or Matriculation (10th) with certificate in above cited trades under Skill Development Scheme of the Government.

Desirable Qualification

Knowledge of custom, manners and dialects of Himachal Pradesh is desirable.

Age:

Minimum 18 Years and Maximum 45 Years

(3). Name of the Post: Multipurpose Workers

Number of Posts: 34

Multipurpose Workers Essential Qualification

The candidate should have a minimum qualification of middle pass and its equivalent from school duly recognized by the state Government.

Desirable Qualification

Knowledge of custom, manners and dialects of Himachal Pradesh is desirable.

Age:

Minimum 18 Years and Maximum 45 Years

Para Pump Operator, Para Fitter, Multipurpose Workers Mode of Selection:

Selection will be done strictly on the basis of parameters fixed by the Govt vide the Engineering-Chief Jal Shakti Department Shimla letter No. IPH-ES-IL.D.W.man power/2019-8270-8289 dated 08.05.2020.

Documents to be attached with the application form;-

• Attested’ self-attested copies of date of birth certificate, Academic Qualification Certificate and Bonafide Certificate.
• A valid certificate of BPL issued by the competent authority.
• A certificate of experience, if any issued by the competent authority.

Experience for the Post of Para Fitter/Para Pump Operator and Multipurpose workers:

Experience of the related field of Jal Shakti/HPPWD/CPWD/PSUs or Outsoaring agency provi ing service in HP Jal Shakti Vibhag. A certificate issued by the EE (JSV) is required (Related field for Pump Operator is operation and maintenance of pumping machinery allied electrical installation of Rural Water Supply Scheme/l irrigation Schemes. Related Field for Para Fitter is maintaining the Village piped water supply infrastructure of distribution system of Rural Water Supply ligation Schemes.

(B.) Skill Test

(i) PARA PUMP OPERATOR

1. Minor repair of pumps, basic knowledge to locate faults or damage, replacement of defective parts and sets them in position.

2. Knowledge of test pressure, Leakage etc. to make necessary adjustment and observation of performance for appropriate yield of water

3. Knowledge of [pumps installation at site and connect to motor basis alignment of pump to motor and tools i.e. spanner keys etc.

4. Ability to locate fault in electric system and motor.

5. Ability to dismantles or partly dismantles and remove damaged or whom out part and its replacement, greasing and oiling of moving parts.

6. The knowledge of pump lubrication and cooling system.

7. The ability to operate regulating valve and control mechanism of pumping system.

(ii) PARA FITTER

1. Ability to repair water supply pipelines, attend its leakage, add in new connection or abandoning defunct connection.

2. The basic knowledge of pipe fitting its sizes, operation and maintenance.

3. Ability to cut threads on pipes using ratchet and die sets, fitting of specials on pipes using basic tools.

4. Knowledge of basic operation involved in managing in village water supply infrastructure, pipe distribution layout and tech inquest of flow regulation to en sure equitable distribution of water in hilly terrain.

5. Knowledge of tools used for pipe fitting and its operating skills.

6. Behavioral skill in handling grievances/complaints and conflict resolution.

(C.) Physical Test

1. He should be capable to carry tools and pipes in hilly areas.

2. He should not have any physical disabilities and color blindness.

The application form can be obtained from the office of the Assistant Engineer, Jal Shakti Sub Division, Indora, Gangath and Badukhar on any working day w.e.f. 12.07.2022 to 27.07.2022 from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Eligible and interested candidates can submit their application on Prescribed proforma in the Office of the Executive Engineer, Jal Shakti Division, Indora on any working day from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. up to 27/07/2022 with following attested/self-attested documents.

(i) Legitimate proof of age

(ii) Proof of income in case of BPL candidate, issued not later than six months

(ii) Proof of educational and technical qualifications

(v) Certificate of Bonafied Himachali

(v) Character certificate issued not later than one year

(vi) Experience certificate issued by the Executive Engineer in the related field of IPH/HPPWDICPPWD/PSUs or outsourcing agency providing service in HP Jal Shakti Vibhag for Para Pump Operator, Para Fitter and Multipurpose workers. Application received after 27/07/2022 will summarily be rejected. Based on the experience and qualification of candidate, initial seniority shall be drawn as per criteria notified and top most eligible candidates (at least 3 times to vacancies) will be called for skill/physical test .Separate information by telephonically/letter will be given to the candidate called for skill physical test.

General instructions

(1). The candidate must apply on the prescribed form which is appended as “Annexure-B” with this advertisement and candidates are advised, to apply on this format only on A-4 size paper. Applications received in any other r format other than the Annexure-B will be rejected out rightly.

(2).The application form should be filled in by the candidate in his/her own handwriting with blue/black ink ball point pen.

(3).The candidate must fulfill his required essential educational and other qualifications on the last date fixed for the submission/receipt of application forms.

(4).Incomplete application forms e.g. declaration not signed, without photo and enclosures not attached and columns not filled in or applications received after due date shall summarily be rejected without assigning any reason.

(5).Candidates should also attach one-self-addressed envelope of 9 x4″ size along with Rs. 6/-(Rs. Six) postage stamp pasted on it with the application form.

(6).The original certificates/Testimonials will be seen at the time of evaluation.

(7).The selected incumbent will be paid honorarium at the rate of Rs. 5500- per month for Para Fitter/Para Pump Operator and Rs. 3900/- per month for multipurpose workers.

(8).The working hours of the incumbent shall be 6 hours per day.

(9). A quarterly self-reporting format (to be devised by the Jal Shakti.
