• Graduate in science from a recognized university with three years work experience from a recognized institution OR Master’s degree in Public Health/ Social Sciences.

Scientist-B (Medical), Statistical Assistant, Field Investigator Selection Procedure:
(a) Candidates have to apply by posting their application and supported documents to undersigned:
(i) Last date of application: 25/03/2023.
(ii) Date of written examination: 27/03/2023.
(iii) Address application at: Professor and Head.

(iv) Venue of Examination: 3rd Floor, Lecture Hall, Community Medicine, Dr. RPGMC, Kangra at Tanda (HP)-176002.
(v) Time of Examination: 12:00 to 13:00 Hrs.
(b) It is to compulsory to bring all the original applications during at the time of joining.
(c) No TA/DA will be paid to the candidate for appearing for examination and joining.
(d) Terms: Posts are purely temporary. Appointments will be initially for a period of 89 days and may be extended further based on the tenure of the Project. However, the appointment can be terminated at any time even before the end of the contract period due to any reason. In case of such premature termination, one month’s notice or one month’s salary in lieu of the same will be provided. The same will not hold true in case of premature termination due to performance related issues. Candidate can leave the job prematurely giving one month’s notice or one month’s salary in lieu of the same.
2. Essential Qualifications:
(a) Qualifications & degree should be from recognized Institution/ University.
(b) Qualification can be relaxed in case of candidates having working experience in ICMR/Government of India Projects as per prevailing rules & regulations.
3. Desirable Qualifications:
(a) Those who have already worked in ICMR projects will be preferred. In addition.
(b) Candidates belonging to the local area will be preferred and no claims will be entertained for stay in study area.
(c) If local persons are not available, the persons from the adjoining area will be considered..
4. Please Note:
(a) There are purely contractual posts and as such they will not have any claim whatsoever for regularization neither in the Dr. RP Govt. Medical College. Tanda nor at DHR/ICMR.
(b) The mere fulfilment of requisite essential qualification/ experience does not guarantee selection.
(c) During the currency of the projects as well as on its termination, the Dr. RP Govt. Medical College, Tanda as well as the ICMR, New Delhi will have no legal liabilities relating of staff.
(d) Performance will be assessed on a regular basis.
(e) Contract can be terminated at any time based on the performance of the staff.
(f) Candidates will have to submit an affidavit at the time of joining that they will accept all the general instructions & terms and conditions related to the post.

(j) The rate of emolument/stipend is project specific and may vary according to sanction of the funding agency of the project depending on availability of funds.
(k) The institute reserves right to consider or reject any application/candidature.
(L) Submission of wrong or false information during the process of selection shall disqualify the candidature at any stage.
(m) Selected candidate will normally be posted at the study site; however, they can be posted to any other sites in the interest of research work. They are liable to serve in any part of the country.
